Melbourne Commercial Sign Installation
We recently had the pleasure of manufacturing the signs for an exciting new retail business Adreno. Their latest showroom in Melbourne was fitted out with the latest company branded images. This included several grand format digitally printed images for the front wall of the building.
These images were printed on our state of the art solvent digital printer and were then liquid over-laminated; to increase UV protection from our harmful Australian sun. These images are, banner type signs, with Kevlar edges. The banner is then slid neatly and securely into black powder coated aluminium sail track. The sail track is affixed to the exterior of the building using nylon plugs. Through using this installation method, we will ensure that the ‘banner’ is affixed securely to the wall and the banner is pulled taut.
The main sign on the front wall, entitled Adreno, was also digitally printed. However, it was situated on its own steel frame. This frame was constructed in house from galvanised square tube that was welded together, by our expert welders. The printed sign was stretched over the custom frame. Capping was then placed over the fabric and secured onto the frame. This ensures that the side edges of the frame are covered, and provides tidy appearance. During installation this welded frame was bolted to the concrete external front fins of the building using dyna-bolts.
Through the use of quality images and our specialist digital printing equipment Sign Age Queensland has provided Adreno with custom signage in accordance with their corporate branding requirements. Being an interstate or international customer is not a problem when you are working with Sign Age Queensland. As was evident in this job, we can produce all these signs in house in our Brisbane – Redcliffe Sign Shop. For this job we used road freight to send the signs to Melbourne. When in Melbourne we had our local installer erect the signs as per the customers’ requirements.
